Need help with funky text situation

Hello,

I have no idea how this happened. It started like this without me modifying anything, anyone ever see this: (this was cut and pasted from my admin section).

BOX_HEADING_CONFIGURATION

BOX_HEADING_CATALOG

BOX_HEADING_MODULES

BOX_HEADING_CUSTOMERS

BOX_HEADING_LOCATION_AND_TAXES

BOX_TAXES_COUNTRIES

BOX_TAXES_ZONES

BOX_TAXES_GEO_ZONES

BOX_TAXES_TAX_CLASSES

BOX_TAXES_TAX_RATES

 

even the header section shows this HEADER_TITLE_SUPPORT_SITE | HEADER_TITLE_ONLINE_CATALOG | HEADER_TITLE_ADMINISTRATION

It could be a database problem, osC needs to read it's configuration from the db.

Check your log files, there probably is some indication in there why this fails.

Hi,

 

Make sure your admin/includes/languages/english.php file is present

 

Also if you use other languages other than english make sure those corresponding language files are present too

 

eg

 

admin/includes/languages/english.php

admin/includes/languages/french.php

admin/includes/languages/german.php

etc etc
