No default.php files in 2.2?

All of my titles on my main page are formatted like "TABLE_HEADING_NEW_PRODUCTS" .. I've read that these are defined in default.php, but I do not have a default.php file in any of my /includes/languages/ directories...

 

Is this new to 2.2? The files are not in 2 different ZIP files that I have tried.

look in includes/languages/yourlanguage/index.php :D
