Guest Posted July 25, 2003 Posted July 25, 2003 Hi, I just installed QTPRO a few minutes ago, the admin area and the database seem to work fine, but when i tried to go to my site, the main catalog page i got this Fatal error: Call to undefined function: tep_output_string() in /home/shop/public_html/catalog/includes/functions/html_output.php on line 81 So basically i cant access my site :) It's propably (hopefully) an easy fix, can anyone please help ?? Thank you.
Guest Posted July 27, 2003 Posted July 27, 2003 What version osC are you using? BTW you might find you get more people able to help if you repost in the contributions forum. :)
Guest Posted July 27, 2003 Posted July 27, 2003 Hi, Thanx for replying :) I use 2.2MS2 I think that error happened sometime while i was changing the files as in the QTPRO instructions... I have no idea whats wrong... :?
Guest Posted July 27, 2003 Posted July 27, 2003 Hi, Thanx for replying :) I use 2.2MS2 ah. QTpro was written based on MS1 code. There was no tep_output_string in that version. I'm guessing that you've used version 2.0 & uploaded the whole files? Although it says its for ms1 & loaded, using qtpro_notes is probably your best bet for getting it to work with ms2, since it lets you add the changes to your existing code. I suggest you revert to the backup from before you installed qtpro & make the changes using qtpro_notes. I'm not sure how much of the code relating to stock control or attribute handeling has changed between the 2 milestones, so I don't know if it will work at all with MS2. Good luck & post back how you get on. I'm sure others will be interested to here if its possible.
Guest Posted July 29, 2003 Posted July 29, 2003 No, I couldn't get it to work with MS2, so I installed MS1 and it workes fine so far except for one thing, if you could please help me figure this out... I added a product and placed attributes and everything to it, size, color etc. but when I go to the products page, there is no drop down menu to choose the size and color I want to purchase... Is that the way it's supposed to be? (which makes no sence) or am I missing something? Thanx
Guest Posted July 29, 2003 Posted July 29, 2003 You should be getting a list of options with radio buttons to select your chosen option. What does it say below the product description, where you would expect the options to be? Have you entered stock levels in admin?
Guest Posted July 29, 2003 Posted July 29, 2003 Yes, I did put stock level in the admin, Under the product description it doesn't say or show anything, there is nothing between the description and the add to cart button.
