tharris Posted July 25, 2003 Posted July 25, 2003 Hello, I have set up my shopping cart and when I looked at the payment modules, it is set to credit cards and cash on delivery by default. When I tried to set the PayPal, it would not allow me to activate (i.e, the red button was still highlighted with not edit button on the right). How do I set the PayPal so that I can receive payments that way too? In addition, how do I configure or enable the SSL so that the transactions are secure? Please help. Tim
wizardsandwars Posted July 25, 2003 Posted July 25, 2003 Have you tried clicking on the green button? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTE: As of Oct 2006, I'm not as active in this forum as I used to be, but I still work with osC quite a bit. wizardsandwars Posted July 25, 2003 Posted July 25, 2003 Do you have an SSL installed on your server? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTE: As of Oct 2006, I'm not as active in this forum as I used to be, but I still work with osC quite a bit. tharris Posted July 25, 2003 Author Posted July 25, 2003 I send a note to the adminstrator asking if SSL is installed on the server. If that is the case, is there anything that I need to do as the cart adminstrator? Thanks again.
wizardsandwars Posted July 25, 2003 Posted July 25, 2003 Well, your host *may* offer a shared SSL for free. You'll be able to use that. They should let you know what the url for the shared server is. once you have that, you'll just make the adjustment in the configuration file for hte path of the SSL ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTE: As of Oct 2006, I'm not as active in this forum as I used to be, but I still work with osC quite a bit.
