Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/myusername/public_html/catalog/install/includes/functions/database.php on line 45

 

Hey I am trying to upgrade an existing install and even though everything else seems to have gone okay, I get this message.

 

In addition i do not know exactly how to start the program. The install routine had me put in a directory called catalog and admin (which I renamed). Then when I involked the install routine, everything went okay except for the database line.

 

I have tried to go into the admin directory and I get the message

 

1046 - No Database Selected

 

select configuration_key as cfgKey, configuration_value as cfgValue from configuration

 

[TEP STOP]

 

I have no idea how to correct this or even if this is a serious error. Can anyone give me a helping hand. Also is there a manual anywhere?
