redred Posted July 25, 2003 Posted July 25, 2003 Hi Everyone, I am having a problem with the shipping calculation based on weight. This problem occurs with Zones as well as Table - weight. I set the product to a weight of 1 and added it to the cart, upong checkout the shipping is calculated as if the item weight was 4. I then set the product weight to 0 and tried again and it showed the order weight was 3. For some reason the starting weight for an order is fixed at 3.. Anyone has any idea why is that happening? mugitty Posted July 25, 2003 Posted July 25, 2003 Look in your Admin->Configuration->Shipping/Packaging You'll probably find that the entry labeled "Tare Weight" is set to 3 ... if you want to REALLY see something that doesn't set up right out of the box without some tweaking, try being a Foster Parent!
