Fatal Error on opening install

I just started this afternoon trying to get oscommerce installed, and once I finally had all the files onto my host, I got this errorFatal error:

Failed opening required 'includes/application.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php:/usr/lib/php') in /home/ajzthing/ajzthings-www/catalog/install/index.php on line 13

Can someone please tell me what to do to fix this?? I can fix code if someone tells me exactly what to do.

Thanks!

Thanks for the link.. I had already been there, and am searching for the solution to my problem. It looks like the program is looking for a file called application.php, but no such file exists anywhere (I've looked in every single directory!!). Should I be downloading an older version of oscommerce? I notice I'm not the only person who has had this problem.

Thanks!

If there is no catalog/install/includes/application.php then your file transfer must not have completed.

Please verify whether there is or is not a catalog/install/includes/application.php file.

Also, is this an MS2 release?

I had to do a new download, files were indeed missing. This is the newest available release. My domain host was finally able to get everything uploaded to my site correctly for me last night as she has a much faster connection speed then I do.

I seem to finally be able to get started. I am baffled why files were missing, but hopefully this thread will help other people who had the same issue! Just download again from a different mirror and see if that helps!

Thanks for your assistance!

Thanks for coming back and providing that information for others!

I am glad to hear that the situation has been resolved.
