Tax Mechanics

Gentlemen,

 

I have products that sell across the world therefore the price I show in the catalog should be excluding Euro VAT. So I have set the VAT config in MYSTORE to FALSE. However, the item lines on the invoice show the same values (exc VAT) for each of the item (exc) Item (inc) and Total (exc) total (inc). However it adds the VAT to the invoice correctly at the bottom of the invoice. If I set the config to TRUE, then the catalog shows inclusive pricing and the invoice shows the correct item values and VAT (tax).

 

Is this the way it works or am I missing something....
