Products and product options

I haven't found this feature available, but I thought there might be a mod out there I simply can't locate.

 

I have a product similar to clothes. Each product has a brand - brand has the following attributes: name, manufacturer, material, cost.

 

Each brand has multiple colors. Each color is is the same price.

 

On admin, is this realtionship possible to create?

 

On the Front-end, can you present the informaiton this way:

 

Category list -> Display list of all brands (and associated brand data in category (includes brand image)

 

Product page -> display brand data as well as list of all colors and associated data (color name, color image).

 

Any suggestions?

Each brand has multiple colors.

Are the color choices the same across brands? If so, you can just use two options, one for brands and one for colors. If not, then you have to make one option: brand/color, which will have values like Brand1/Red, Brand1/White, Brand2/HotPink, etc. When you are defining the Attributes, you would just select an option price of 0 to make all of them the same price.

No the color choices are not the same. One brand could have 3 colors and another brand could have 30
