How to delete the New_Products Box on the Front Page.

I have found this in the forum before but I can't seem to find it anymore.

I would also like to control the New_Products box to were I only want 3 products to be viewed in this box. I have downloaded a couple of contri. to were you control the box from the admin menu but I haven't installed them yet because I am not sure they are what I need, and it would be a waste of time time to install them if I do not need them.

You can change the amount of new products shown through the Admin panel and more specifically I think it is the "My Store" section you are after.

 

Not sure about your other problem sorry.

I have looked in the Mystore and the configuration categories under my admin and it doesn't ask you anything about Limiting products

on admin side...admin/configuration/maximum values/new products module change value from 9 to 3
