Multiple osCommerce sites - one database

Hi there,

 

I'm looking to setup multiple instances of oscommerce for different things.

 

I want to be able to allow users from one site to log in at another as well as have all my products and orders collected in a single admin panel.

 

Any tips on how to go about doing this?

You will be amaized.

 

copy the working site to another site.

 

Modify the configuration.php in both admin and catalog directories on the second site.

 

Do not change the database information at the bottom?

 

You will see the same products on both sites.

 

Now just make the cosmetic changes you want.

But I want to be able to choose which products & categories are displayed on which sites.

 

Also, is there a way of doing this without duplicating the oscommerce files on the server?
