checkout_success.php not found! Need Help!

Hello,

We have been recently using osCommerce 2.2-MS1 for several of our clients, with only graphical modifications and the addition of a few contributions.

The problem is coming in though when a customer goes to checkout on the final "confirm your order" page (checkout_confirmation.php) which pushes them to checkout_success.php.

On one of our accounts, http://www.kingcoffee.net/store.php (not live yet so you may run tests if you like), the process page loads very VERY slow.

On the second account, it is timing out and saying "page cannot be found" and yet if you hit refresh, then it comes up fine and simply duplicates the order.

In short it seems like the page is having a hard time processing, and in some cases times out completely....and yet in both cases the order is always received...but the customer may not know that if they do not get the success page. Can you help?

Here are the basic configurations for each:

1. USE_PCONNECT false

2. STORE_SESSIONS mysql

3. SSL true

It should be noted that we have attempted testing with and without SSL to see if that was the problem, ultimately though with the same results.

Some potential questions to help trouble shoot.

1. Is this just the version of cart we are using?

2. Does using the Store sessions via mysql make it slower?

3. If use of the newer cart for the solution is suggested, would it be possible for us to simply pull in all new checkout and process pages alone, or would it require pulling in the entire new cart? File names to be replaced would be wonderful.

Bit confusing the say the least. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance! :)

Sincerely,

Bruce
