Any experience of BT BuyNet as a PSP?

I'm in the process of acquiring some sort of payment gateway and merchant account in the UK. Have seen the posts on Barclays, Worldpay, Protx, SecPay etc but none on BT's BuyNet.

 

Has anyone used this service with Osc (or working on it now)? I'd appreciate the feedback.

I spent quite some time talking to BT about this service.

 

It is expensive to setup

 

They charge a monthly rental which is also expensive

They charge a transaction fee which is cheap BUT they don't seem to be able to tell me whether or not they also charge a % of the transaction.

 

When I asked about AVS and CVS the guy didn't understand what I was talking about. When I explained AVS to him, he said that they don't do anything, that's upto the issuing card company!

 

I won't be speaking to them again.
