Guest Posted July 23, 2003 Posted July 23, 2003 To my knowledge any forms posting to here are WEBLINK METHOD: https://secure.authorize.net/gateway/transact.dll This method requires only cleartext variables such as x_Login_ID, etc. to process a payment. Any forms posting to here are the SIM method: https://certification.authorize.net/gateway...ay/transact.dll This requires the same cleartext variables but must be encoded with a MD5 type of hash using a transaction key before sending. Well, I am using the authorizenet payment module in one of my stores, www.cornerclock.com/cart/index.php At first I specified no transaction key when editing the module in the admin section. It also posts to secure.authorize.net. So this was weblink method. Now I put in the correct transaction key, and payments once again work fine. Is this still weblink method, or a SIM transaction now? The payment still goes to secure.authorize.net. Anyone know what's up with it? And if it's weblink, is there another module on here that uses the SIM method specifically? They are phasing out weblink later this year!
cgchris99 Posted July 23, 2003 Posted July 23, 2003 I was told to use the ADC/AIM method not the SIM method. To use the ADC I installed the contribution for it and added the CVV contribution as well. It took a little to time to figure out all the contributions because of the updates. However, it installed and worked without a hitch. good luck.
