rtpHarry Posted July 23, 2003 Posted July 23, 2003 i want to sell configurable computers online, so the entire pc is one product, but its components can be changed. the components inside the pc will be available for purchase seperatly and hopefully would just link together without me having to keep the pc options and general catalog in sync. the components would be selectable from a range of say 3 to 5 components, like 60, 80, 120 gb hard drives via grouped radio buttons, like the hard drive group, monitor group, mouse group, ect the components can require another selection in the group, like compatiblity, such as if you change the processor from intel to amd your motherboard would no longer be compatible so I dont know exactly how powerful this cart is, and ive seen the contributions section so it seems pretty extendable, ive got some coding skills, and what i really need to know is how much of this stuff is just a dream and how much is practically achievable? any help is appreciated, thanks.
xxGeek Posted July 23, 2003 Posted July 23, 2003 there is a contribution made just for that can't remember what it's called but i think it was custom computer creator it should do the trick, might need to be touched up a bit but in my opinion will do the trick if not you can always make your own The more you do, the more you learn
