gogowanda Posted July 22, 2003 Posted July 22, 2003 hello, i'm choosing between the two and want to hear from folks who have had them working for them. i finally understood i need a merchant account w/ payment gateway to have a professional image type card processing for my site. but i had no experience w/ these companies. so i'm wondering if someone have experienced these companies, or some other payment gateway providers, can give me some tips. and if i go to a local reseller can i negotiate a better deal? thanks!!

cgchris99 Posted July 22, 2003 Posted July 22, 2003 I used 2checkout for a few months and it worked ok except for the holdback money. The disc rate of 5.5% is very steep. I talked to my local bank and got a great rate of 2.06% with authorize.net I installed the authorize.net ADC & cvv modules and it worked perfectly.
