I built my cart on a particular domain now the OScommerce cart is complete and I want to change the domain name to another and I only remember one place on the config script where I inputted the domain name (since it was so long ago). My question is: Is there more than one place to input the domain name to the OS cart. And what potential problems should I be aware of before I point my cart to another doman name. For example the cart was built on www.theoctagonfighter.com now I want to change it to www.theoctagon.com this is the site that it belongs to. I just used www.theoctagonfighter.com as a building area. I will be going to network solutions to point www.theoctagon.com to it's new hosting service so it can be married with the OScommerce site found currently on www.theoctagonfighter.com. If all this sounds too complicated "NEVER MIND" :?
blueline Posted July 21, 2003 Posted July 21, 2003 Assuming that you are using some release other than ms2, simply go into the /catalog/includes/configure.php and /catalog/admin/includes/configure.php files and change the domain name there. You shouldn't have any problems... Chris Sullivan
