Scrumpers2 Posted July 21, 2003 Posted July 21, 2003 My live sites run on Sokkit 3.0 the new version of phptriad but I cannot get the install past step 2 and have no errors. I just installed easyphp on a spare dev box and I was running in less than 10mins so I copied the database to my Sokkit 3.0 install and modded the config file in include but could not connect to the database. Has anyone any idea why I cannot run it on Sokkit ? :idea:
tswalling Posted July 22, 2003 Posted July 22, 2003 I've installed oscommerce on sokkit 3.0 with no problems. PM me if you have any questions. First things I can think of: What type of install did you do for sokkit? the default type has register globals off and they need to be on for oscommerce, I think php safe mode is also on in the default type Also, you did install the mysql addon for sokkit right? These are just two things I think of off the bat without knowing your exact error messages.
Scrumpers2 Posted July 22, 2003 Author Posted July 22, 2003 In my c:windowsphp.ini I have register_globals = on and safe_mode = off mysql module installed and working fine as I have a live site up and running using it.
Scrumpers2 Posted July 22, 2003 Author Posted July 22, 2003 I have just done this and went thru the install but it failed when it could no find the oscommerce.sql so I manually did this from phpmyadmin and then did the install and the catalog is up and running. Know I cannot seem to get the admin working I just get a balnk screen thats if I am doing it correct http://mysite/catalog/admin/ http://mysite/catalog/admin/index.php http://mysite/catalog/admin/configuration.php no luck with any of these
