Guest Posted July 21, 2003 Posted July 21, 2003 Hi all, I am having trouble with the image sizes. All is displaying OK, apart from the fact that many of my product images are different sizes, and therefore when displayed look distorted. Is there any way I can make the software default the image to its original size, rather than enforce the aspect ratio on the picture in the admin settings. Any help would be appreciated. I have looked in the mods and hacks bit on this website. and the only thing I could find was an image mod that was written in French. My french translation is not the best, but I kind of worked out that this wasn't what I needed to cure the problem. Thanks all.
Guest Posted July 21, 2003 Posted July 21, 2003 In administration/configuration/images Put the height or width to 0 HTH The_Bear
Guest Posted July 21, 2003 Posted July 21, 2003 Hi, Put a size of the image in the height box and leave the width box completely empty ... no zeros...just blank. This will automatically constrain the image to the height size and the width will follow along.
Corwyn Posted July 24, 2003 Posted July 24, 2003 I tried puting 0 or null into the height and/or width, still some of my pictures are destorted. If I click on the item and click enlarge they are totally clear. Any further sugestions? Corwyn
Guest Posted July 24, 2003 Posted July 24, 2003 There are multiple image sizes--make sure that you do this with all of them. Also, check the file that is actually displaying the image to make sure it doesn't have anything hard coded. Good luck, Matt
