same old Fatal error: The script tried to execute a method

I know you've seen this one before, but i can't find anything in the forums to resolve the issue!!

 

The Full error is: Fatal error: The script tried to execute a method or access a property of an incomplete object. Please ensure that the class definition navigationhistory of the object you are trying to operate on was loaded _before_ the session was started in /u01/www/secure/htdocs/store/keithrichards/catalog/includes/application_top.php on line 307

 

i've checked my session.auto_start and everything looks good! i had the code running on a staging environment and am now trying to move it to "live." the only difference between the staging and live environments are that live uses ONLY SSL (so i have both HTTP_SERVER and HTTPS_SERVER set to my https://foo.bar.com in my configuration.php) and the filesystem on the live server is *not* writable.

 

php.ini & https.conf files are (mostly) the same . . .

 

any ideas out there? any, and i mean *ANY* help is greatly appreciated!! i have to go live in a few days!!! :-
