Cheeky Chino Posted July 21, 2003 Posted July 21, 2003 I was wondering how do you promote your websites shop? Wether it be Advertising in any way (Banners, Word Of Mouth, etc etc). And how do YOU make your products sell better, IE. Better quality images mean the product looks better. Cheers in advance for any input. loxly Posted July 22, 2003 Posted July 22, 2003 Combine online and offline advertising. Do Link Exchanges with people with similar types of sites. To get in the big search engines, do a search on your product and directories and go list your self on those sites. Google wants to know you have other sites with compatible content linked to you. Put lots of informational content on your site. Advertise offline with mailings, newspaper and magazine ads. IN other words, develop a marketing plan targeted to your market. No one else's marketing plan will work for you. :) How would you go about looking for the product you sell? Would you look in the yellowpages? Ask your friends? Jump online and go to your favorite search engine? Food for thought. [no external urls in signatures please, kthanks]
