I swore Yahoo didnt crawl, but I have about 15 IP's in the 216.109.126.X range banging the heck out of my site and they are showing coming from static pages that I created. Inktomi just finished with me after 2 weeks of a crawl. But these IP say hotjobs.com or shop.vip.dcn.yahoo.com, problem is its hitting so hard Im getting Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Too many connections in ... every so often. Anyone else ever have something like this from this IP range.
Guest Posted July 20, 2003 Posted July 20, 2003 Ok Answer my own question. :D Yup its YahooSeeker 6500 hits so far, it found my index page to my static site pages and is just going down the line. Dont know if it will do any good but server is ok (had pconnect on before in catalog and off in admin) so wonder who is going to be next to hit the heck outta my site. Just glad I pay for 10gig of bandwidth a month.
