Hunkah Posted July 19, 2003 Posted July 19, 2003 I have been having a problem with people coming into my webstore and stealing. They are takiing whatever they want without paying. Is there anyway to keep them from doing this?
Guest Posted July 19, 2003 Posted July 19, 2003 Yep, Employ someone with more than your one brain cell to set up the shop for you. Idiot.
Guest Posted July 20, 2003 Posted July 20, 2003 Hmm....my previously unposted "Stop shipping it to them until after they pay?" idea is looking much more mature now. Seriously, how are they stealing? Are these downloadable products? What's happening? Good luck, Matt
akay5785 Posted July 20, 2003 Posted July 20, 2003 lol, that's some real funny s**t :P "I shall strike great vengence upon the!" ohh yeah visit: http://www.aarocal.com
Hunkah Posted July 20, 2003 Author Posted July 20, 2003 OK, OK! I did this as a total joke! I wanted to make you all laugh. Some of you need to lighten up a bit. [hint-hint] akay5785 - Thanks, this joke was meant for people like you. I was hoping that some of you would try to help me, that is part of the joke. Forgonnessake! How can someone steal from a webstore! It is a virtual thing. They would have to virtual steal too. I laughed at this for about twenty minutes after I wrote it. I was hoping that it could bring some joy to this forum, because it is always so business oriented all the time.
Hunkah Posted July 20, 2003 Author Posted July 20, 2003 iiinetworks - Even though it could be true, I never thought of the downloadable products when I wrote this. So thanks, for being cool anyway trying to help. Actually, I don't even have an active store yet. I am waiting for the template system  Hope you had fun reading this too.
Guest Posted July 20, 2003 Posted July 20, 2003 so you wasted time out of our busy lives to play a role in your joke?
Guest Posted July 20, 2003 Posted July 20, 2003 delaen, what an intellectual you must be then..... It was 2 in the morning and I wasn't feeling so erudite. OK iiinetworks, I think you need to backtrack too. Actually thinking he was serious. Come on. His handle was Hunkah Crap.
mattice Posted July 20, 2003 Posted July 20, 2003 I was hoping that some of you would try to help me, that is part of the joke. I don't find it amusing at all. I'd consider that trolling, not to mention it wasn't posted in ChitChat. As if we don't have anything better to do. @ Paul; It has happened several times in the past people got away with NOT paying for a download - including PayPal "tricks" - so it is not so far fetched. You are right about the handle though. Mattice "Politics is the art of preventing people from taking part in affairs which properly concern them"
Hunkah Posted July 20, 2003 Author Posted July 20, 2003 OK, I am sorry for trying to make you laugh. How about I be an A**-hole like the rest of you, maybe then you would like what I say! Never mind, Forget I did it! Any mods want to get rid of this, go ahead. Nobody likes to joke. No wonder there is so much war in the world. Everyone has a 7 foot pole stuck up their ass!
Priest Posted July 21, 2003 Posted July 21, 2003 OK, I am sorry for trying to make you laugh. How about I be an A**-hole like the rest of you, maybe then you would like what I say!Never mind, Forget I did it! Any mods want to get rid of this, go ahead. Nobody likes to joke. No wonder there is so much war in the world. Everyone has a 7 foot pole stuck up their ass! Wow... so let me be the first to agree with you. Come on, lighten up, getting a #$%^*&@# sense of humor! Funny or not... it is healthier to laugh than to be so serious all the time. There is a time to joke, and a time to be serious, so if it's your time to be serious, then just move on along. Ok, so he posted in the support forum. Then move it to chit-chat instead of wasting everyone's time (and your own) posting negative comments. ~P~
