I am using version 2.60 and have set the catergories variable to 9. However i am still only getting 6 categories showing up. Is there anything else that i need to change or should this be working? Kind Regards Tim Darracott P.S. i emailed Tim with this request and he replied with this.. "Hmm. I thought the categories would have followed the setting in the code. UKSwift Posted August 11, 2003 Author Share Posted August 11, 2003 for anybody that is struggling with this i found what needed changing. You will notice that even out of the box easy populate says it has 7 categories set as max categories but even this only displays 6. However i did a quick search and there was two occurences of $categorylevel=6 in the easypopulate.php on lines.. what i did was simply set this number to 9 i think. Im sure you can get the maxcategories variable in there rather than a integer. i wanted a quick fix, and this worked. I emailed Tim but he hasnt emailed me back, and i have downloaded the latest edition of EP and this hasnt been changed. ePDQ arrggghhhh! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
