Ch3W
Hi all, Can anybody advise me which are the files to edit apart from the obvious stylesheet in order to customise oscommerce to my liking? Thanks in advance, Ch3W. -=[Ch3W]=-
Hunkah
Why don't you just wait for a bit, they are working on a templates system right now! I am sure you can put up with it for (two weeks). That is when they should have it done. 8) Maybe? Actually I don't know when it will be done, I was just hoping two weeks is all it will take. Guest
I don't think that a template system is a two week mod. It's on the Workboard for MS3, which should be out within the next six months. What they have so far is included in the tep-docs directory. I'm not sure what the original poster wants to do. If it is a layout redesign, then you may need to edit all the files in the catalog directory. If it is wording changes, you need to edit files in the includes/languages directory. Wordings that are on multiple pages will appear in language.php (e.g. english.php). Wordings that are only on one page will appear in includes/languages/language/filename.php (e.g. index.php's English text is in includes/languages/english/index.php). If you just want to change the layout of the header, footer, or side columns, you can do so in the relevant file in includes. There is more information at wiki.oscommerce.com. You probably want to start by clicking on Help Documents and then on either Catalog or Modifications. Good luck, Matt
