Guest Posted July 16, 2003 Share Posted July 16, 2003 I am working on a mod to create comma separated values file or tabs or whatever. These files would then be importable to USPS shipping assistant or whchever shippers software - depending on setup. I am stuck on a couple of points. Currently I can retrieve the values that the Shipping asst demands - Name, company, suite, address, city, state, zip, zip4, telephone and e-mail. However, I am having difficulties getting it to extract last name and then first name due to the fact I am querying the orders. The other thing is that currently I can create the csv files one by one, what I want to do is go to orders, click on several boxes that correspond to the orders and then have multi label info generated for the import. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. Eventually I hope to be able to reverse engineer this so that the confirmation numbers can be retrieved from the software and so added to the db for the customers acct history - but that is FAR in the future.
