noahwallach2
oscommerce 2.2 MS2 FreeBSD 4.8 okay cant get past the permission levels of step 7 in the installation routine. didnt move or delete or touch any files but did change the permissions on both permissions to 706 and 777 for botht the configure.ini files in catalog/includes and admin/includes what else should I try? - Noah
konlong
You should also chmod 777 /catalog/images Also the regular install expects the following diretory structure for the configure.php files: /catalog/includes/configure.php /catalog/admin/includes/configure.php It may be easier to follow this structure during the initial install. Then you may rename or move the /admin directory and its children later. Taking care of course to make the appropriate changes in the admin/includes/configure.php file after the install chmod the configure.php files to
