joekilo
so close to the end.... two queries..i have allowed free national shipping...but when going through payment procedure it still shows the flat rate or whatever has been added for international orders even though it doesnt place it in the final total? although the ed is correct, showing the figure before will scare of particular customers.......how do i set the shipping to just show on international? Alsoaftter completing a test sale it comes up with your order will be delivered in 3-5 days....i want this set to about 10 days....anyone have the answer? jk

BlueDry
For you shipping text, I think that you should check " checkout_success.php " in the language directory for the following line : define('TEXT_SUCCESS', 'Your order has been successfully processed! Your products will arrive at their destination within 2-5 working days.'); I would be really interest to know how you did your shipping difference for national cost and international!! I need to do that but don't know where to start... Also, do you know if you can discount the shipping for additional items? AND have a different price if international? Thanks! joekilo
hi thanks for that, with setting the free shippig etc look in your admin at modules-order total- shipping you should have the option of turnig free shipping on or off for national or international....but to be honest i havent used this now...i have used the contribution zone international (zonesworld) on the os commerce contribs page...theres a readme with it ...but what i have done is set GB as zone 1...then set this to 999:0 that means anything up to 999 kilos (i set to kilos instead of pounds) will cost 0 there it will all be free as i have nothing this heavy anyway.... then you set your next zone to whichever countris you want to group together in this price range...then set the shipping........i have set most of europe in this zone under these figures ...1:3,2:5,3:7,7:11,99:150.00 which means anything up to 3 will cost 1 pound, up to five will cost 2 pound and so on....you can add as many zones as you need just follow the guide with the contribution....hope this helps jk
