Design and CMS/Menus: An internal server error occurred.

Hello,

i have installed V4.14.63473 on a linux machine.

Altough all needed modules seems to be present, one thing do not work since I have installed V4.

I can not manage "menus".

Every time ich click "Design and CMS: Menus"  PHP crashes with the error notice:

PHP Version 8.3.6. MAybe an Apache module is missing, but all prerequisits are fulfilled.

Anyone an idea?

@analyticaTake a look at the error log in admin->Settings->Tools->Error Log Viewer to see what it reports.

There are different logs.

Error: Call to undefined function mb_regex_encoding() in /var/www/html/lib/vendor/smarty/smarty/libs/plugins/shared.mb_str_replace.php:47

I have searched in WWW, seems a module is not activated: PHP Multibytes extension.

I have to check, if this is the problem
