Zone Table Rate Shipping No cut off with Price

On the whole this module works really well, enabling all the shipping methods I have for all the zones with several weight bands per method etc.

However if I try to select the Weight + Price option making the price from 0 to 20 then if the shopping cart value exceeds £20 then the shipping method still shows ? It also allows selection.

With Weight + Price I thought I could restrict on weight e.g. <= 2.1 kgs and shopping cart total e.g. £20.00.

The reason for this is that some methods only offer up to £20.00 compensation, so if price higher shouldn’t show. 
 

Is Weight overriding?

Is it a bug?

Have I not configured correctly?

WORKAROUND:

Using Price option alone I can restrict the method from showing, however only for one weight not the bands.

So see below the Workaround, using price only means method only shows if shopping cart total price < £20.00.

However this was what I was hoping for, where as long as shopping cart price less than £150.00 then the method shows and can be used. However even when shopping cart price above £150.00 the method still shows and can be selected. I need price cut off as this is the compensation level on the item.

Why does it still show when shopping cart value above Price? I can't work it out.

Try to add additional price line:

Yes that works so what I need to do is add the second line:

20 to 9999 -0.2 to remove the handling charge added on RM second class.

Okay so this works! As long as the cost is negative after 9999 then the option will not show. It's brilliant I hope this helps someone. It's certainly a lot less confusing for the poor customer:
