Prices not being Displayed

I changed my configuration to USD from products, Localization, and everywhere else I can see and now none of the prices are showing on frontend, even if I add a product to the cart, it still does not show the price. I had an SQL error stating invalid syntax for update currencies however I have since cleared cache including error logs and that error has not reproduced. I do not have any errors in the logs now, yet even after server reboot, relogging, private browser window, prices are still not displayed. All of the articles I find are from 20 years ago and the files they say to edit are not there. Can anyone please tell me what I need to do to get prices showing again? @cjf1026 is my IT guy and he will be following along on this thread.
