Free Shipping compatibility issue with PayPal REST API 2.0 module for OsCommerce 2.3.x

I installed the PayPal REST API 2.0 module for OsCommerce 2.3.x version adapted from Oscommerce v4.

After an upgrade to comply with php 8.x I got it to work, but I met a compatibility problem with a shipping module add-on that provide free shipping with a minimum number of products in the cart. As I can see, the shipping methods that the module show to the customer are always the default, instead of offering the free shipping the customer has chosen.

Do you already know about this issue?
