We downloaded oscommerce, installed it, purchased some add-ons.

Sent messages to support, in email and on Facebook to Vadym with no answers multiple times on multiple days.

Never had one single answer.

While other "die hard fans" may disagree, we shouldn't have to wait for admin approval to get purchases we have made for this script and as well, it seems like when they took over this program from the original owners they were excited and working hard and then... they just got tired of it and left.

 

I make this as a general statement to anyone looking forward to using this as a shopping cart, or possible purchasing items from the app shop.

And the saddest part is, while Vadym escaped Ukraine and made it to England, my wife who is from Hrebeni Ukraine and very involved with the ILDU thought perhaps we could restart our life using this script.

It turns out it is just another broken script in the graveyard of many broken and dead scripts littering the internet.

Hmmm I’ve been gradually working through, it does seem a lot more stable now but I’ve still yet to go live. 

So far core stuff seems to work but there are bugs.

Most things seem to get fixed and there are many more features than before, but yes I share some frustration too.

I think as a community effort it’s best to try and help so improvements can benefit all.

Our support team is overloaded, Vadim is doubly overloaded.
I see that you only have 2 messages on the forum, and you started with complaints.
osCommerce works. Currently it has 13 version and 14 is comming soon. During the start we launched several dozen sites. Many of our customers have launched their websites on their own. Of course there are always some problems.
Maybe you would bother to post your questions on the forum?

osCommerce is more alive than it has ever been since 2010. We took over osCommerce to re-build it and are working hard on it every day. 

Indeed certain hiccups may occur and our development team is always on the case, according to their delivery schedule.
