Database Backup

good morning one and all..

Version 4 installed okay..

database transfered / inported okay..

i would now like to make a Database Backup, useing the database backup manager within osCommerce..  Settings/Tools/Database backup

no matter what in enter in the comments or other options on the right hand side i get this error.. and no backup

I have contacted my hosting company to see if they can do anything.. obviously not..

Unfortunately, I haven't had any luck with resolving this issue. I have tried the steps below.

• Temporarily disabled Mod Security
• Increase PHP timeout and memory
• Run a permissions fix

This does look to be a common issue with the CMS used as mentioned, so I suspect it might benefit from a osCommerce developer to look into and confirm. I am confident this is a CMS issue rather than a hosting issue..

thats why i am now writing this forum entry, in the hope that the developers can point me in the right direction..!!
