Guest Posted July 12, 2003 Share Posted July 12, 2003 Hello, here's my dilema. I have a client that wants me to update his site so that it is a fully functional ecommerce site. I would like to use os commerce because I'm familiar with php (more as a designer than a programmer). However, my problem is that he wants me to integrate the website's data with a CRM loyalty program that his store's atm uses. I'm not sure how it's configured, but my guess is that it's probably using a windows server and database. Is it possible to create a website's ecommerce in php using MySql on a linux server then have it itegrate with another system's (Windows) database? Or, should the website be created using asp? Whatever the solution is, I would need to hire a programmer to do the job right.
