I realize that many customers do NOT pay attention to much that they are presented with while shopping, but there seems to be a problem within the javascript of the shipping estimator.

I, myself, probably would not have noticed however since I was working the USPS module and had the Display Weight set to TRUE I did notice it.

The weight shown next to SHIPPING METHOD shows correctly but the individual methods (in my case UPS and USPS) DO NOT.

The error seems to be within the js-ship-estimate section from what I see with Chrome inspect option.

Do not know if anybody has noticed this or not.  Some customer will see it and want to know WHAT weight they are being charged for and WHY there is a difference.

Currently I am using v4.13.

This probably won't help you but I wonder if the first value is the sum of the two modules - s x .408 = .9

No, the item in the cart (not shown) has an assigned weight of .9 Lbs.

That was my first thought also, but I verified the assigned weight and what was entered is 0.563 lbs which translates to 9 ounces.

I think the code is showing the Kgs because .9 lbs is 0.408233 kgs

that's the same problem I pointed out to @Ivan Holbi

Prior to posting, I search for other poistings regarding my situation.  In my search I use the key words and in this case I used "Shipping estimator" and nothing showed up.  I apologize if you had already posted it.  I never found it.

@jimdanforth Did you get a solution to the situation?

Not sure how that resolved it though?

@jimdanforth

He must have changed something else because changing the values that you indicated (thank you for the graphic) still does not resolve the issue. See graphic created after the changes that you showed.

Many factors influence the resulting weight. Remind me of your admin login and product ID, I will try to explain why the weights are different.
