Adding youtube video to product description will not work?

Hello everyone. 

I have tried to add one youtube video to product description by using the prodvided feature as follows:

 

however, after clicking on "save", absolutely no video is displayed. 

Anybody has experienced the same issue or I am actually missing out on something?

FORGET IT

It was simply a matter of wrong youtube code, since I have used the "embed" code instead of the correct "watch" one.

Something strange happens after inserting the youtube code, please have a look:

Although the youtube video is clickable and can be displayed, I also get TWO more youtube video windows while the first one is only showing up instead of the product image if I click on it. If I click on either of the two additional windows, the youtube video does not start and all I get is a youtube error message. 

Weird behaviour indeed. 

Anybody happens to know the reason why?

I tried to add a YouTube video to a product. However after clicking on the Video tab on the Product Edit page, the buttons to add videos were not showing.

My Admin page:

Further details:

I only have the Dutch language active (~/admin/languages):

When I activated the English language the buttons appeared , but only on the English tab.

Appearently the buttons only show up for the English language.

How to fix?

For now I eddited the template file (<MyStore>/lib/backend/themes/basic/categories/productedit/video.tpl) and changed two lines into comments (note the * in yellow):
