MODULE EXPLANATIONS - Am I missing something?

I am confused and lost.  I went to the App Shop located what I thought would be beneficial to me as an Admin and the customers overall.  The module "Product Global Sort" states "for optimal customer appeal".  Iclicked on the "install" button, and it apparently installed because the button changed to "Local storage".  

I then visit my "Local storage area" and it displays

SO the question becomes WHERE do I find it within the theme I am using?  Are there variables for setting it up? 

My biggest question is "ARE THERE EXPLANATION SHEETS FOR THE MODULES?"  Perhaps a wiki that I am missing or have not found that contains the information on where modules are installed and procedure for usage?  How to set up a given module? Any guidance on the modules, like whether they are Admin or customer activated?

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Hi BJ,

Try clicking the on module title (shown in screen shot below in yellow), this will open a new tab and take you to the OSC app store where you may find additional information.  Some modules are still under active development, so documentaion may be limited or a bit thin.  Always feel free to ask any questions and someone should be able to help you out. 

Generally though, Once installed, Have a look under ADMIN -> Modules -> Extensions and click the name of the module there. 

If there are any module configurations available, clicking the "EDIT" button on the right hand side will allow you to access them.
Some modules add extra screens of features, the menu shortcut shown on the right hand side (the module you enquired about is one of these)
Other modules may add additional widgets which can be added to your theme by clicking the widget - but acording to the description in the app shop, this modules is not one of them.

For your module, click on the "Product Global Sort" button to go directly to the new sceeen - From here you set the sort order using the action links, or drag products using the hand icon
