SEC V. 1.0

I'm trying to install the Shoppe Enhancement Controller to the 5/18/03 snapshot as per the instructions but I can't get past the database changes. I go to mySql and try to add the files that she has- using the structure file first and I get the following error:

ALTER TABLE products_attributes ADD product_attribute_is_free tinyint( 1 ) NOT NULL default '0' AFTER products_options_sort_order

 

MySQL said:

 

 

Unknown column 'products_options_sort_order' in 'products_attributes'

 

I have tried commenting out that line but then i just get an error on the next line. This is a clean install of the 5-18-03 snapshot. I've also tried this on a clean install of the MS1 version, on Ian's L5 and the current snapshot.

 

What am I doing wrong? How do I get past this so I can move forward with the installation? I'm at a total loss.

are you using the corect sql files as i recall there were some changes and bugs make sure you get the latest fix, if you run int probs. let me know i have the thing complete i'll be more than happy to send it to you :wink:

Yes, I am using the current files- i just downloaded them yesterday- what I see there is a file with a 'b' extension that has some bug fixes, etc.

 

if you got it working i'd love to take a look at that copy. I can't get my database to do anything with the files that I have.

do you have product etc. already if not pm me your email address

i'll send you my copy so you could compare or do a clean install

as i remember right there were some bugs in it that i found
