Phunky
Instead of buying online, my client would like it to be possible for the Customers Cart to be emailed to them as a Quote in which then a Sales person will contact them back. He wish's to do this due to not having HTTPS access. Plus im only a Designer :( and i dont know too much bout the transaction side of things. but Emailing the Quote to the store wud be enuff for my current client.. if this feature is built in im blind and cant find it, if its been worked on then great! if not ill have to pull my PHP monkey out for 15mins
loxly
I have a similar need, because of special shipping quotes needed to be added to the order before the customer accepts it. Any ideas/code would be appreciated. [no external urls in signatures please, kthanks]
Guest
Get rid of the payment and shipping options - then left with cart with products and it will be sent to the store. Put checkout success message to "Sales person will contact" etc
loxly
Ah but then, how to go back to cart to finish order? [no external urls in signatures please, kthanks]
Guest
YOu could set it so they cannot checkout until the order is released. SO they basically order it and send to you. After you release it, they will have the payment and shippin gpages then. So, if order status =1 - then can checkout. If order status =0 , pend order

I don't know? please help if you can Kevin Bell ProTech Security, Inc.
Guest
I did a mod for a client that could easily be adapted to this - If I can get some feedback I'll see about putting together a contribution. Matti

loxly
Why do people who do cool things for/to osc feel the need to ask if it is a needed contribution? :) If you needed it, assume others would like it too..... Sometimes you don't even KNOW you need something until you are browing the contributions and you see something and *POOF* a light goes on and you wonder how you lived without that feature :) [no external urls in signatures please, kthanks]
