Im completely overlooking the access to the contact us email template. Can somone point me to it?  Mine isnt sending customer's name, and I want to look at adding a field or two.

JIm,

Have looked but no show, maybe try looking in PhpMyAdmin > database and search in email_templates

see if any of the email_Templates_subjects looks promising and then look for that Template ID in email_templates_text

133 looked promising but just a guess

good luck

@pandrei  Any pointers?

There is no email template for the contact us page.

I see, that you want to add some fields for the contact form, but why do you need an email template?

What additional fields do you need?

I sell tractor parts, so adding field for them to include model information would save a few steps.  Also, my emails are only including the message, and not including the "name" field.  I would also prefer their "email" in the text of the message, not just the return address.

We are considering the extended contact form feature.

Right now you can add fields manually into the file: frontend/themes/basic/boxes/contact/contact-form.tpl

Part of my problem is that the contact form isnt sending me the email with all the fields collected from the from.  The name field never shows in the email.
I am not finding the file you referenced either.

The name is a part of Reply-To: header and then you reply the email it must go to the To: field
