Chadduck Posted July 15, 2023 Posted July 15, 2023 The import instructions identify a "recommended" import order. It reads Note: We would recommend to import the data in the following order: 1. For products first import brands, categories and product options , then products 2. For orders first import customers and order statuses , then orders 3. For taxes first import tax zones , then taxes. After I was finally able to get the customers to import as shown in step 2, I went looking for the "Order Status" import. Unfortunately there was/is NOT an option for "order statuses". Please see the below graphics... they are shown in order from the top of the import page to the bottom (Taxes [graphic 1] is first group of options) After the customers completed and since there was no "order status" import, I began the Orders import. It completed. Took 19 hours. Upon completion the folowing was shown Finished import for Orders! Entities downloaded: 37650, added: 37091, updated: 0, skipped: 559, error: 0 There were no errors, however, 559 orders were skipped because of "special" statuses that had been created for our needs. The Orders import log indicated Row orders_status_history: was skipped for the following reason(s): The order status "" will be skipped for order # Was the lack of an import option for "Order Status" an oversight? OR did I miss something in the "Importing Data from Older osCommerce Version to New One - osCommerce Wiki" BJ Quote
pandrei Posted July 17, 2023 Posted July 17, 2023 The order statuses do not import automatically. Because it's hard to recognize the meaning of custom order statuses. You have to match old and new order statuses manually in the Mapping tab. If you can't find an appropriate status order in osCommerce v4, you can create a new order status into Settings->Order status->Order status. You even can create a new Status Group "oldStatuses" for such order statuses After that you have to re-import all orders again. Quote
