Guest Posted July 11, 2003 Share Posted July 11, 2003 Hey, Site and shop are based in the US but will be selling to Canada also. For International sales to Canada they only want to offer Global Priority Mail - Variable Weight and none of the others options. The problem I'm having is that regardless of what modifications I do to usps.php I'm unable to remove the other international options! I typically comment lines out for testing but even deleting the other options so only the one remains Still results in all the options being displayed on checkout! Now I dont understand why as I was able to remove both First-Class Mail and Parcel Post without problems. Any help would be appreciated as the shop is close to complete. Thanks! Is odd that I could simply comment out options I didnt want for US service but cant under the International options. Can anyone tell me just what needs to be edited for this? Thanks! Guest Posted July 25, 2003 Share Posted July 25, 2003 Hey jschner, Yeah I found that by installing the USPS Methods 2.4 I was able to do this. Works great and the install was simple. It allows you to enter your admin area then going into the Modules->Shipping->United States Postal Service you simply select which USPS shipping options you wish to offer. The current version (mentioned above) is for MS1. I have not installed it on MS2 as I tend to allow new versions time to debug ;-) I still wish you could edit the output which is displayed on the checkout_shipping.php page but thats not a big deal. I'll look at it more closely to see see if missed something. Yeah I'm with you. Being able to modify the usps.php file like with the main shipping options would be nice. Thanks for the info. If you get it running on MS2 you might want to post the changes made here but also email the author so they can update the contribution and get it uploaded.
