Draxx
Everything seems to be working fine but when I go into admin and select catalog and then go to edit the things in the catalog It says I have 0 products and 0 categories. It says I have no items on special (and I do). The only thing it will show me is the manufacturers page. But when I view the store as a user all is there. Any clues? Guest
Make sure that you are using the same database settings in catalog and admin. This info is stored in includes/configure.php in each area. Good luck, Matt
Draxx
Would putting the admin directory under an http access password cause this? I guess I just don't get why I can see the manufacturers but not the products and categories. Database settings are correct.
Guest
Have you made any changes to files in the admin area? Particularly, categories.php and files that it includes? Good luck, Matt
Draxx
Hi, No I dident make any changes. I turned off the # totals in the categories box... then I did backup... then I went to the categories section.. and it was empty. So I turned the #'s back on and that did not seem to help So I went andloaded the database with myphpadmin and just looked to see that it was there..... and it was So I rebooted and reconnected and it worked. I don't know if it had to do with turning the #'s off... but I'm gonna go see here in a sec and turn them off again.
Draxx
okay I turned the category counts off and all seems to work. Could this have been a cookies - sessions issue?
