AccelEx Posted June 22, 2023 Posted June 22, 2023 Hi there, I have been looking for information on how to install the correct way OS 4 on my web hosting in the IONOS.com web servers. 1. All files have been uploaded to the server. 2. I run the instalation process and accept everything. 3. Pre installation check is all good (php 8.2) and data base with MySQL 8.0 is good (all the data was created, check via phpmyadmin). 4. Settings went good. 5. In the main site where I have 5 options, one includes the admin (every other demo site works well). 6. When I get to the /admin/index.php all I get is a error 500 but there is no error log in here: lib/backend/runtime/logs/*.log 7. HELP!! Quote

AccelEx Posted June 23, 2023 Author Posted June 23, 2023 Hi there @bombec I saw that post and read the full thing, but there is no solution fond for the IONOS or a web share hosting. I spoke to the guys in the tech department and said in their opinion the .htacces file still has some localhost code to function. But I haven't been able to find information of why no one has been able to setup the OS4 in the IONOS webserver. If anyone can help I would appreciate it. Quote
pandrei Posted June 24, 2023 Posted June 24, 2023 We already had similar requests from IONOS clients. The problem is that the standard Apache module rewrite does not work on IONUS sites. But osCommerce requires this module. You can see for yourself with this test: https://www.oscommerce.com/wiki/Checking_Apache_mod_rewrite Quote
