ChrisDJ
I'm completely reorganizing the category structure of my store. Currently there are over 1600 items in my store. I will be using EasyPopulate to upload the items in there new category structure. I need a quick and dirty way to delete the old items that reside in the old category structure. (I really just wish easy populate would change the categories, rather than create items in new categories, leaving the old items in the old categories behind) What's the quickest way to get this done? I use myPHPAdmin to administer the sql database. Thanks!
hankfrid
I'm sure others out here more experienced with MySQL will eventually respond, but in the meantime: I believe you should have an option once you select a table in PhpMyAdmin to "Empty" the table. Just empy your category and product tables and then do your reload. HankFrid If I build it...they will come. If I don't try to build it.....I will never know! ChrisDJ
hankfrid, thanks. I'll try that locally to see what happens, and go from there. Any other ideas?

Guest
Doug, It contains a SQL file. Just run the SQL code using phpMyAdmin or your Control Panel. It's a one time run to clean out your database, not code to be integrated into your site. ed
