Im trying to setup my shop on my pc so i can modify and preview the changes without uploading the site back onto the hosting server Im working on a winXP and I downloaded the whole site using the fpt in dreamweaver but i want to be able to see the changes as i make them. If anyone can tell me what software bits i need and how to set this up with the site ive just download as this would be a great help to a beginner. Look for 'phpdev bundles' and 'phpdev FAQ' under Downloads. (Stick to the 4.2.3 until 5 is at least out of beta.) It is a doddle to install. Is there any easy php installers in the Queen english? Cheers Kev 1. Double-click the EasyPHP icon and add the line below MySql errors in English --skip-name-resolve --language=english 2. Make sure you have Expert mode checked. This adds two entries to your mouse right-click popup menu one being Configuration | phpMyAdmin. 3. Make sure you press Apply. Or else it does not save your changes. 4. The most useful is phpMyAdmin. You can also access it via http://localhost/mysql/ By the way. Did you install the English Files first. 5.
