I am getting the following errors;

I am trying to move my site from a linux server to IIS

I am getting the following errors;

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING in C:wwwnorthcountryspecialtiescatalogincludesconfigure.php on line 29

This kind of error usually means that you are missing a closing mark, like a ), ', or }. I would double check the definition of DIR_WS_FUNCTIONS and those before it in configure.php.

Although I'm no pro, I think I had a similar error on my first installation. I generally have a nack for doing things the hard way...

 

I resolved the issue by using the web page to configure the portal rather that manually mod the files. Try going to http://<SERVERNAME>/catalog/install/index.php

 

It pointed out my issue (can't remember if it was a db or smtp issue) and was much easier.

I would rather not reinstall from scratch again. I have done a lot of mods to it and really hate to reinstall everything again. I also have know idea where it is picking up the line:

Try replacing the with / in these lines:

define('DIR_FS_DOCUMENT_ROOT', 'C:wwwnorthcountryspecialties'); 

define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', 'C:wwwnorthcountryspecialtiescatalog');

or replacing the with . These are the lines that are giving you trouble. You just need to find a way to specify them that makes it happy. It might also be simpler to change the second line to

define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', DIR_FS_DOCUMENT_ROOT . 'catalog/');

ozzy - i had exactly the same problem when i setup osc on iis last month.

 

 

Try this:

 

In IIS settings:

 

- go to the default website properties

- 'Home Directory' tab > configuration > Mappings > select .php and Edit

- in the Add/Edit Application Extensions Mapping swithc ON 'Check that file

exists'

Thanks for the info, changing the paths to use instead of worked. Now the issue is if I refresh the page or go to another page I get the following:

You almost certainly have two includes (or require and include) of the file sessions.php. Check the file to which you would be going (e.g. index.php) for an include/require of sessions.php. Any file which includes application_top.php should not also include sessions.php.
