Guest Posted July 9, 2003 Posted July 9, 2003 Hi, I'm using a german shipping module (Deutsche Post) but I think the same problem will rise in UPS and other shipping methods: When a shopping cart reached the maximum shipping weight (in my case 20 Kg) the shop will show "shipping cannot be calculated". Does anybody know if there exist a code to split a large shopping cart into several shipping packages? Marian
dsmcphee Posted August 23, 2003 Posted August 23, 2003 Setting the maximum shipping weight will force all shipping methods to divide the packages and re-calculate as if 2,3, etc packages. Problem is though is that the shipping doesn't actually say "2 packages" or whatever. It just does the calculation. I'm just posting a recommendation at the moment regarding this.
