my2002feathers Posted July 9, 2003 Share Posted July 9, 2003 I'm trying to hack my way thru this... I have a catalog with 5 main categories and at least 100 sub-categories and about 12,000 items. Some items will be in multiple categories (example: aquariums will be under "fish", "reptile" and "small animal"). I manually input the 5 main ones just to fiddle with the program, do I need to manually setup the sub-categories? Then how can I import my database file and where would the db file be stored on my server? Several products will also have attributes, can I modify my db file to show attributes for a correct import? Some of these items will have multiple attribute values (example: dog collars come in several different colors and several different widths and lengths).
